About Friendship Academy

Friendship Academy was founded in July 2024 by two best friends, Christina and Shelby, who met in high school at the age of 14. Their bond, forged through shared experiences and countless adventures, has blossomed into a deep friendship that feels more like sisterhood. Christina pursued degrees in early childhood education, fueled by her passion for nurturing young minds, while Shelby earned degrees in business management, driven by her desire to create and sustain impactful ventures.

After years of working in various educational and business settings, they recognized a gap in the Klamath Falls community: a need for a nurturing environment where children could explore, create, and develop essential social skills. Inspired by their own childhood experiences and the importance of supportive relationships in education, Christina and Shelby set out to create a unique learning space.

At Friendship Academy, the philosophy is centered around the idea that strong friendships among children can lay the foundation for lifelong learning and emotional intelligence. The academy emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning, encouraging children to collaborate and communicate with one another in a warm, welcoming environment. With a curriculum that incorporates play-based learning and social-emotional development, Christina and Shelby aim to empower their students to become confident, compassionate individuals.
